The series is based on the comic series of the same name written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The series has a very happening and suspenseful plot where the Boys a group of young vigilantes take on the so-called heroes who misuse and exploit their powers. The superheroes? group is called the Seven and is owned by a conglomerate called Vought International.

The Seven are also very rude, arrogant, and corrupt. Seeing all this the vigilant boys decide to take on the superheroes once and for all as they are a threat to society.
