The money that came as investment was used up by the young members of the club who would spend it on a very luxurious lifestyle. The mastermind Hund and director Jim Pittman were later arrested for murder and fraud.
A Movie Based On The Real Story
In 2018 the movie Billionaire Boys Club was also made on the same true story of the fraud and it’s categorized as a biographical crime drama. The film has been written and directed by James Cox and co-written by Cox and Mauzner.
