The series was created by George Kay and Francois Uzan, both of them are famous French directors and drama makers, known for many of their superhits works in comedy, action, and thriller.

The senior Diop is framed by his corrupt and selfish boss for stealing an expensive diamond, and when Assanes father is not able to prove himself innocen,t he is jailed after which he commits suicide due to shame and disgust.
