She answers the job requirement for a midwife at Virgin River, gets the job, and begins to settle in her new home in the town, thinking that life would be perfect here. But very soon she realizes that life at the town is not as easy and smooth as it seemed from the outside and that in order to live peacefully and make the town her home she must first heal herself.
